  • To prevent water from entering the container, the vent holes are cut under the top half. This forces water to flow vertically for three inches before reaching the container, providing ventilation. For optimal air circulation, we suggest using at least two vents. However, using four vents will create an even better cross flow of air. Alternatively, you can place vents at every divet on the container for maximum ventilation.
